The East Bay Drum School was created as an academy for drum teachers and students alike, with two main goals in mind: to provide a supportive environment for students to pursue the development of their drum set playing; and to offer teachers a supportive environment for continuing their own development as instructors and pass along their knowledge and wisdom.



Our teachers are carefully selected to ensure both their rigorous professional standards and their dedication and enthusiasm for teaching. At the EBDS you will find teachers who are dedicated to their work, and who will inspire you to realize your potential.

Our studios are safe, clean and comfortable, and fully equipped with 2 drum kits, PA, isolation headphones, metronomes, books, videos, HEPA air filters and more. There is a waiting area with vending machines and ample free street parking. (Note: some of our teachers also teach at other locations).
